Abstract
Faculty and administrators will lead the group in a discussion of hints, tips, and advice about topics related to early career promotion, reappointment, tenure, developing an effective research agenda, and other topics important to early career professionals in higher education. The session will include short introductions, panel histories, and an interactive exploration of the Reappointment, Promotion, Tenure (RPT) process, and an open discussion revolving around organization and self-advocacy in the RPT process.
