Abstract

Music performance anxiety is a psychological, physiological, and sociological problem that can inhibit and incapacitate musicians in any level and type of music. In this session from two career musicians and music educators with relevant stories of resurgence and transformation, learn seven practicable steps to prevent and resolve anxiety: recognize, center, breathe, intone, stretch, relax, and flow.
