Abstract

A novel epoxycyclooctadiene-δ-lactone, mycoepoxydiene, was isolated from a fungal culture (OS-F66617). Its structure and relative stereochemistry were established using spectroscopic studies, including single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis.
