Abstract

Presented in the New Directions in Historical Materialism and Methodology session, the paper critiqued the residual naturalism among the many researchers and published accounts misunderstanding James O'Connor's Second Contradiction Thesis. Potential avenues of research not being developed were listed and prospectively described.
