Abstract
Companies and information technology (IT) departments often hire outside Systems Integrators (SIs) to help build or upgrade a computer application. It sounds simple enough. But then why do problems often crop up between SI consultants and their clients? This article examines the most important points of failure in the client–SI relationship, and shows how to establish a governance process to prevent problems.
