Report on the AICPA's SEC national conference

At the AICPA's Twenty-first National Conference on Current SEC Developments, numerous speakers from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), the American Institute of CPAs, and others presented an overview of important current accounting and disclosure issues, as well as regulatory and legislative concerns that affect SEC registrants and audit practitioners. This article reports a summary of the major issues discussed at the conference.
