Abstract

There is continued and growing interest in using low voltage power network to realize "the last mile". And we know that it is necessary and important for any communication system to study frequency response of the channel. This paper presents frequency response measurements on two typical low voltage networks in the frequency range of 1M-10MHz, and second order statistical parameters describing dispersion characteristic of channel are obtained: 3 dB coherence bandwidth and rms delay spread. Then three-order statistical autoregressive model is given for frequency response of low voltage network channel. At last the paper proves that model suggested is feasible by comparing simulation results with measurement data.
