Abstract

This six-part podcast series features thought-provoking insights regarding the science behind adverse childhood experiences, trauma and resilience. Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are stressful, traumatic events experienced in a child or adolescent’s life. ACEs are very common and they can happen to anyone. The experiences and environments during our childhood and developing years have a tremendous impact on health across the lifespan -- as they can alter the architecture of our developing brain and body.
