Abstract

The role of twice Fréchet-differentiable mappings in general auxiliary problem principle (GAPP) is studied. The approximation-solvability of the nonlinear variational inequality problems (NVIP) based on GAPP is discussed. The class of m-times continuously Fréchet-differentiable mappings have a suitable framework to describe and analyze iterative optimization algorithms such as gradient or subgradient as well as decomposition/coordination algorithm.
