Abstract

I participated along with a number of other eighteenth-century literary scholars and historians in a collaborative reading of Simon Gikandi's recent book, Slavery and the Culture of Taste. I also became a contributor to the blog, The Long Eighteenth. Run by Professor Dave Mazella (University of Houston), The Long Eighteenth is one of the oldest and most established blogs in my field.
