Stability analysis of some numerical schemes for Navier-Stokes equations

Abstract

This talk presents how the basic inequalities are used in the stability analysis in some numerical schemes of Navier-Stokes equations. The basic inequalities include Cauchy-Schwarz inequality, Young's inequality, one inequality often used in numerical analysis, and a fantastic algebraic identity.
