Stability and performance analysis of queueing networks with virtual multiserver stations

Abstract

Recently linear programs have been constructed to determine the stability and performance of queueing networks. We detail additional linear constraints for buffer priority policies exciting a virtual multiserver station, thereby improving the bounds. We also construct functional bounds, and test for stability and efficiency.
