Abstract

Learning Outcomes: (e.g., participants will learn.....) <br>1. Participants will understand how personal narratives can provide an individual who experienced a stroke the opportunity to process, accept, and move beyond loss.<br>2. Participants will understand Frank’s three illness narrative types and common themes in literature related to illness narratives in individuals who have experienced stroke.<br>3. Participants will understand the relationship between themes in recent literature relating to living with stroke and those identified in Faces of Stroke illness narratives.<br>
