Abstract

The “Reading Is Fun” was a community service learning project where preservice teachers conducted one-on-one storybook reading activities with local public school students. The purpose of this research study was to investigate the project’s effects on preservice teachers’ literacy orientation and their pupils’ attitude toward reading.
