Abstract

This study examined the lived experience of nurses working with limited personal protective equipment during the COVID-19 crisis. These findings call on healthcare policymakers, hospital administrators, and nurse managers to seek early stress assessment of nurses and provide psychological intervention to mitigate lasting psychological trauma.
