Abstract

This oral history project gathers and preserves the stories of individuals across the state as related to one of the largest episodes of environmental and food contamination in our nation's history. The special research collection of personal stories created by this project will provide invaluable insight into this insidious past that fills a significant gap in the traditional historical record. Currently, there is no oral history project dedicated to documenting the lived experiences of individuals exposed to chemicals across the state from the 1960s to the present. The project received funding from two NIEHS, NIH grants.
