Abstract
Station re-develpoment on the Northeast Corridor Railway in the eastern U.S.A. has required the most extensive planning and inter-agency phasing. 22 of the 26 stations were built in the 1980s, and many of the buildings are now in a state of considerable disrepair. Illustrated by reference to 3 major station re-developments at Boston South Station, Providence Station and New Carrollton Station.-A.Scowen
