Abstract

Aortic aneurysmal disease encompasses a multitude of anatomic variants and presentations. Of the most challenging to manage are thoracoabdominal aneurysms, which are differentiated in that they typically involve both the thoracic and abdominal aortic segments as well as the visceral vessels. They represent approximately 10% of all aortic aneurysms with an incidence of approximately 10.4 cases per 100,000 in the United States.
