Abstract

Over the last eight months the members of our FLC have explored opportunities for using learning technologies and mobile devices to support and assess the clinical work of student teachers. After discussing a range of interests, applications, and tools, we chose to focus on using videos of instruction to assess and develop reflective practices in teacher candidates. Our poster will describe our efforts in this regard, present our initial findings and their implications for our teacher education program, and make recommendations for further investigation and improvements.
