Visual thinking: reassessing the communication paradigm

Abstract

The revolution that has accompanied the technological advances of the past twenty years has created a new area within the discipline of communication: visual communication. The objectives of this workshop are as follows: Provide participants with a basic introduction to visual communication. Acquaint participants with issues involved with visual literacy. Encourage participants in their own visual thinking through hands-on activities.
